St. Patrick’s Day

Every year on March 17, the Irish across the globe celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. What began as a religious feast day commemorating the patron saint of Ireland has become an international festival celebrating Irish culture with parades, dancing, special foods and a whole lot of green. So, on Monday 16/03/15 the members of the English Speaking Club spoke about the historical background of this holiday and its symbols, discussed the facts and myths related to it, practiced the idioms based on green color.
