Women Are the Real Architects of Society

On Tuesday 31/03/15 “Window on America” heartily welcomed Rachel Atwood, Assistant Cultural Affairs Officer, US Embassy in Ukraine, who conducted the English Speaking Club. The meeting was dedicated to the issues affecting women around the world, with a focus on the U.S. and highlighting Ukraine. Mrs. Rachel represented the historical background of Women Rights Movement, spoke about the gender gaps in payment, education, leadership, about the stereotypes which exist in the society, sexual objectifications which may have resulted even in violence and harassment. The meeting was very informative with the demonstration of the world statistics and video materials.
