16.01 Literary salon

In the literary salon, organized the framework of IRC "Window on America", the adherents of Sidney Sheldon's novels gathered to discuss the works of this famous American writer.

Sheldon's novels, kindly donated by Donald J. and Doris London, are in great demand at the moment.

In most cases, main characters of Sidney Sheldon's novels are brave women, fighting back at all the obstacles in the way of their lives.

"Men don't appreciate women and, in my mind, it's time to change the situation... In my men's qualities on one hand, and who don't forget about their femininity on the other — marled the author in the interview to the magazine America".

There and some other reasons of Sidney Sheldon's popularity were discussed at the meeting.
